A customer brought in their vehicle, which had an air suspension failure. The car’s absorbers were damaged, causing the suspension to fail to lift, making it impossible to drive without the risk of the tires scraping against the wheel wells.
Upon inspection, our technicians found that the air suspension system had malfunctioned, and the electronic absorbers were beyond repair. Replacing the entire air suspension system would be costly, so we discussed more economical options with the customer.
We recommended converting the air suspension to an adjustable suspension system. Our team carefully removed the faulty air suspension components and replaced them with high-quality adjustable absorbers. This conversion provided the customer with improved handling and comfort at a fraction of the cost of replacing the original system. After the installation, the vehicle’s ride height was restored, allowing it to be driven safely and smoothly without further risk to the tires.
