A customer came to us with their vehicle equipped with a Dual Clutch Transmission (DCT), reporting a loud and unusual noise whenever the car was in motion. The noise was particularly noticeable during gear shifts and acceleration.
Our technicians conducted a detailed inspection of the DCT gearbox and found that the issue was due to a common problem—loose clutch components. The looseness in the clutch was causing significant noise during operation, impacting the driving experience and potentially leading to further damage if left unchecked.
We carefully removed the gearbox to access the clutch assembly and tightened the loose clutch components to the manufacturer’s specifications.
